Honors: Celebrating the Women in Our Community

Do you own or know an amazing woman or business that deserves recognition?

You are encouraged to self-nominate or to collaborate with your nominee on the application details. Multiple award applications are welcome; please submit separate forms for each applicant. Three award finalists in each category will be notified by the beginning of September. Winners in each category will be announced during our annual Celebrations Event mid-October. Winners must be present at the event or agree to arrange for a representative to attend on their behalf.

WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT

Each year Bozeman BPW selects a distinguished professional woman to receive the “Woman of Achievement” Award. The award is designed to recognize an exceptional woman for her accomplishments in professional work and community service. Women recognized have often set new levels of success and new standards for excellence in our community, State, Country and/or the World.

2024 AWARD WINNER

Danielle Rogers

For over 30 years, Danielle Rogers has been a dedicated community leader, bringing people together through service projects, events, and small group discussions. With degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Theological Studies, Danielle was ordained by the AME Church in 2006. She co-founded the Montana Hate Free Zone in response to white supremacist activity, leading rallies, organizing educational events, and fostering dialogue. In ministry, Danielle has focused on social justice, engaging youth in leadership and community involvement. She also serves in various leadership roles, including as Vice Chair for Bozeman's Economic Vitality Citizens Advisory Board and on the Montana Chapter of CEDAW task force.

The “Employer of the Year” Award is given to recognize employers who have demonstrated through their policies and actions a commitment to the development and advancement of women in the workplace.

YOUNG CAREERIST

The “Young Careerist” Award is designed for young female professionals in the beginning stages of their careers. It empowers “rising stars” between the ages of 21 and 35 to build the skills necessary to advance themselves in today’s workplace. This award provides potential for growth, self-discovery and is a great resume builder.

McKenzie Butcher

McKenzie Butcher, PE, is a Professional Engineer with 8 years of experience at KLJ Engineering, where she serves as the Technical Lead for the water and wastewater group. In addition, she holds roles as an associate Project Manager and Client Manager for multiple clients across Montana. McKenzie has successfully led numerous critical infrastructure projects throughout the western region and locally. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering at Montana State University, with graduation expected this December. Outside of work, McKenzie enjoys hiking with her dog "Yanna," reading, and challenging herself to learn a new skill each year.
