WOMAN OF ACHIEVEMENT

Each year Bozeman BPW selects a distinguished professional woman to receive the “Woman of Achievement” Award. The award is designed to recognize an exceptional woman for her accomplishments in professional work and community service. Women recognized have often set new levels of success and new standards for excellence in our community, State, Country and/or the World.

2023 AWARD WINNER

Big Sky Bravery

There are over 45,000 nonprofits in the United States that support our veterans. Big Sky Bravery (BSB) focuses solely on active duty SOF - those who remain in the fight. They provide weeklong programs (Task Forces) in Montana’s restorative surroundings that create world-class experience that grants these individuals the rare opportunity to decompress, rediscover what was lost on the battlefield, and experience the hope and freedom they are all fighting for. BSB's involvement and activities increase awareness of and sensitivity to women's issues and are at the forefront of their mission. "We have the honor of giving back to active duty female Special Operations Forces, as well as the wives of our active duty male Special Operations Forces recipients. By opening up our programs to women, we are able to shine a light on what often feels forgotten in the military community: that women are making just as great of a sacrifice as the men, and that they too deserve to be celebrated, appreciated, seen, and heard."

YOUNG CAREERIST

The “Young Careerist” Award is designed for young female professionals in the beginning stages of their careers. It empowers “rising stars” between the ages of 21 and 35 to build the skills necessary to advance themselves in today’s workplace. This award provides potential for growth, self-discovery and is a great resume builder.

Shayna Blaser

Through this program Shayna aims to connect women entrepreneurs in all of Montana's 56 counties and eight tribal nations, to help bridge the gap between the urban and rural divide. She was awarded both the 20 Under 40 Award and the National Women's Business Center Advisor of the Year award in 2022.
