Montana Aquatic Resources (MARS) is looking for a Project Manager that strongly believes in and shares our vision to raise the bar in protecting and conserving Montana’s precious stream, river and wetland resources. The position of Project Manager (PM) has the primary responsibility for managing and executing existing stream and wetland mitigation projects as well as developing new projects, through networking with private landowners, agencies, NGOs, and land trusts. The Project Manager will market MARS’ mission, programs and projects in close coordination with the Executive Director.
MARS believes in promoting a positive and fun work atmosphere that allows flexibility to balance both
work and personal life. Position will involve frequent travel across the state of Montana. Although MARS is
headquartered in Livingston, candidates residing in north, central, and eastern Montana will also be
considered. Salary range is expected to be $45-$55,000 per year commensurate with experience. MARS
contributes approximately $500 in monthly stipends toward retirement and health savings accounts, and
offers paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
