        Equal Pay Day

Equal Pay Day is held annually in April to signify the point into a year that a woman must work to earn what a man made the previous year. BPW has worked to bring awareness to this issue for many years.

In 2015, Bozeman BPW worked with the Bozeman City Commission to pass an Equal Pay for Equal Work Resolution 4601 for the City of Bozeman.  Many citizens spoke to the commission in supporting the resolution prior to its passing on Equal Pay Day of 2015 (to listen to their amazing testimony, click here), and The Resolution passed unanimously at the City Commission meeting on June 8th, 2015.

On April 18th, 2016, Mayor Carson Taylor gave a Proclamation Recognizing Equal Pay Day
