2014 Educational Scholarship Winners

Amanda Ricker and Rachel Campbell.

Amanda Ricker received a $2000 award from Bozeman BPW. Amanda is pursuing a BA in English Teaching at Montana State University after nearly 10 years as a newspaper reporter. Her teaching interests include middle school grammar and high school journalism. Amanda also has a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas. While taking a full load of upper-division courses, Amanda also works on weekends for the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, manages a monthly business magazine published by the Chronicle, and writes freelance publications for clients.

Rachel Campbell received a $1000 scholarship from Bozeman BPW. Rachel is pursuing a master’s degree in Architecture at Montana State University. She also holds a bachelors degree in Environmental Design and an associates degree in Interior Design. Rachel’s emphasis in her degree is on architectural design. In addition to her coursework and extensive studio time, Rachel also works for the MSU ITC department in the campus computer labs and as a team member in a family-owned business.
