The Young Careerist program is designed for young female professionals in the beginning stages of their careers. It empowers “rising stars” between the ages of 21 and 35 to build the skills necessary to advance themselves in today's workplace.
This award provides potential for growth, self-discovery, and mentorship from the women within BPW and is a great resume builder. The winner will receive a plaque, a FREE one year BPW Membership, and have an opportunity to be mentored.
BPW members between the ages of 21 and 35 may be nominated or may nominate themselves for the Young Careerist Award. Candidates and nominees will be interviewed by the BPW Honors Committee.
The top three nominee finalists will be asked to write an essay on a topic and finalists must be present to accept the award at the Honors Program.
The awards ceremony is held in March of each year. BPW has held this Honors Program for many years since its founding in 1930. In addition to the Young Careerist, the awards program honors a Woman of Achievement and an Employer of the Year.
